Meet the Owner

Lizeth Carrillo

My name is Lizeth Carrillo. I am 22 years old, and from a young age, I’ve always been told I was very creative. I didn’t know what charcuterie was until my mom went to an event in Portland, OR, and wanted to recreate at our church, I had offered to help one of the ladies put it together and ended up finishing it out on my own, and it was so fun to put together, step back and see how beautiful it was at the end. I remember telling myself, “If this is God, it will do good,” and I am now going on 2 years. This is something I couldn’t have done on my own, and I started with no knowledge of cheese whatsoever with the help of God, my family, and friends. This is my full-time job. I haven’t gone back to work since. I’ve worked in restaurants and retail, and not going back to a traditional job has been the biggest risk. I am not really a risk-taker. I like to play things safe and stay comfortable, but it has been 2 years since I’ve had a job, and don’t plan to. It has definitely changed my perspective and has pushed and stretched me for the better.
